Maks was an original cast member of the Broadway show "Burn the Floor" when it opened on August 2, 2009 and returned to the cast along with Kym Johnson later that year. Other DWTS and Burn the Floor connections: Damian Whitewood and DWTS Troupe members Peta Murgatroyd and Tristan MacManus.
